Our Careers Counsellors are committed to helping jobseekers find their dream job. They provide jobseekers with a personalised service, meeting with them to discuss their ideal career path and evaluate current skills and experience. Their focus is to help jobseekers be ‘job-ready’. They do this by giving genuine feedback throughout the recruitment process, working with jobseekers to address skills gaps.

Improved skills and qualifications make jobseekers more employable, provide jobseekers with better job prospects and career advancement opportunities.

Careers Counsellors can arrange suitable accredited training courses and traineeships, which are conducted through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). We partner with Serve It Up (22542) and courses available can include:

• Certificate IV Frontline Management (Business Stream)
• Certificate IV Leadership and Management
• Certificate IV Hospitality
• Certificate III & IV Work Health and Safety (WHS)
• Certificate IV Frontline Management (Hospitality Stream)

The Cert IV Frontline Management courses provide jobseekers with:

Certificate IV Frontline Management (Business Stream)
Students develop skills that are transferable across multiple roles and careers

• Practical skills in planning and implementing an operational plan)
• Developing work priorities
• Organising events/functions, business travel and accommodation
• Recruitment (Interviewing techniques), Selection and Induction
• I.T / Writing complex documents and producing spreadsheets
• Showing Leadership and promoting team effectiveness in the workplace
• Compliance – implementing and monitoring policies, procedures and programs to meet legislative requirements and comply with Occupational Health and Safety, EEO, First Aid
